Born in a family of a regular architect and a teacher in the vast steppes of Northern Kazakhstan, at the age of 10 I announced to my friends and relatives that I would live in Chicago. Just let me tell you, at that time it still seemed unrealistic in Soviet Union, but too late for me to become a criminal for these words. At the age of 7, I knew that my first kid would be a boy. I remember at the age of 5 learning the meaning of the phrase “arms race” then I thought to myself, “oh.., they have weapons on this Planet". Many of the childhood’s realizations are still vivid in my memory. Fast forward a few years, and I got my first post-high school education as a Physician’s Assistant and Registered Nurse. Then followed a dual Bachelor’s degree in English Translation and Business Management. At the age of 22, my childhood’s predictions came true, and I found myself in Chicago.

Working in the medical field, I started realizing there is a lot more to human health than what was being presented on the surface. Deep down I felt there was a mission I had to acomplish. I took it as a sign that I need to expand my horizons and look elsewhere. By now I had already been a whole foods plant-based vegan for a number of years, having experienced the benefits first-hand. I had already ventured into my life’s calling as a health living educator.

The next decade was filled with deep studying of Ayurveda, herbs, breathing techniques, ice water bathing, deep meditation, fasting, cleansing and detoxing, inner growth, teaching healing practices, and Purple Sprout.

And this is where I am now. Doctor Nature is what people call me 😊
